Kenryou Gu’s solo exhibition ‘A PART OF THERE IS HERE’, open from Tuesday 9 March 2021, has been featured in an online article in Bijutsutecho.

This exhibition sees the artists’ ‘City scape’ series – captured from the observation decks of various cities – and his ‘Dark mountain’ series – featuring images of coal mountains photographed by the artist upon visits to the coal mines of Inner Mongolia – collected under Kenryou Gu’s first solo exhibition at YUKIKOMIZUTANI gallery. Here we will present photographic works that, based on the artist’s own physical sensibility, capture a new image of the city.
